ETELEC
Silicone gel technology for electrical connection protection.
Optimus Distributor carries 283 products across 30 categories from eight brands: authorised distributorships for KITZ, Yoshitake, Pettinaroli, DFT and DTL, plus principals Tiemme and Etelec and the Optimus house line. The range runs from ball, gate, globe and check valves to strainers, pressure reducing valves, steam traps, PICV, dampers and actuators. Every line is backed by engineering support.
Five manufacturer appointments, two principal lines and one house line. Each brand card leads to its own page: what the line covers, and where it belongs.
Valves, fittings and industrial filters. Our core line, appointed in 2019.
Regulating valves, pressure reducing valves and steam traps from Nagoya.
Hydronic balancing, PICV and fittings: EvoPICV, Dynasty 92 and FilterBall.
Engineered silent and axial check valves from Exton, Pennsylvania.
Butterfly, louver and guillotine dampers for industrial air and flue gas systems.
Plumbing and heating components, made in Castegnato, Brescia.
Silicone gel technology for electrical connection protection.
The Optimus house line, including actuated ball valve packages.
Six families cover most first calls. Each tells you what the pattern is for, which principal covers it, and where to read more before you commit a spec.

A quarter-turn ball gives fast, tight shutoff, clear open and closed indication and easy actuation. It is the default isolation valve on most modern lines. KITZ is our core ball valve line, with Tiemme covering full-bore patterns for plumbing and heating. Not sure the duty wants a ball? Start with gate valve vs ball valve.

A rising wedge that isolates with minimal pressure drop. It suits infrequent, slow operation on long straight runs and higher temperatures, and never throttling. Covered in depth by the KITZ line; the pattern comparison is in gate, globe or ball.

The pattern that throttles precisely. Flow turns through the seat, which costs head but buys control. Where a line needs regulation rather than isolation, the globe earns its pressure drop. Terms like trim, seat and Cv are in the glossary.

The cheapest insurance on the line: a wye or basket strainer catches pipe debris before it reaches seats, cartridges and instruments. Pettinaroli's FilterBall 51F even builds the strainer into a ball valve for hydronic branches.

A PRV holds a steady downstream pressure whatever the upstream does. Sizing decides whether it works or hunts. Yoshitake covers steam and water service; the sizing steps are in how to size a PRV.

Pneumatic and electric actuation, up to complete actuated ball valve packages assembled under the Optimus house line. Deciding how much electronics a control valve really needs? See mechanical PICV vs electronic PICV.
All 30 categories are below, and every product the catalogue carries sits inside one. Open a category to read its list. Filter by brand to see one maker's range across the whole catalogue. 283 line items in total.
Every line above has a selection decision behind it. These are the pieces our engineers point buyers at most often, written for the duty, not the datasheet.
Send the specification: type, size, rating, material and quantity. You get the three answers every first call asks, plus an engineer when the spec needs a second opinion.
